History of the Bennert Group

Have a look at one of the track records within the newly-formed German states, by which there are not overmuch:

In 1990 we launched our business: with 7 employees, a home-made car trailer, some ropes instead of scaffolding for the repair of steeples - not wealthy and therefore not worthy of credit for any bank. Today we have more than 300 employees working in the companies of the Bennert Group, that after more than 10 years became multi-million, top-of-the-range equipped and one of the most significant companies in care and preservation of ancient monuments in Germany. The secret to success in our mind:

Already in the erstwhile GDR, with a matchless degree of improvisation, we saved hundrets of monuments from breaking up. But the often sneered downside of improvisation is creativity and innovation. So the history of our company has remained a history of innovations.

For a company working in the technical business area our structure is completely new. Acquisition, calculation and construction management are incumbent on 21 civil engineers, working close together with 15 master craftsmen, who are primarily responsible for assuring a high level of handicraft quality. Central services like purchasing, transports und accounting are trans-sectoral available for all crafts. 

The vantages for constructors and architects:
They are able to procure the entire business activities of reconstruction from one source, without having to coordinate the crafts themselves.

In every business we put all the experiences we made with more than 4,000 reconstructed objects all over the country - most of them were monuments, lots of them famous all over the world.
